While Instagram lets you use nine different fonts in your stories, you’re stuck with a single boring sans serif for your profile details, regular post captions, and comments. Here’s how you can side-step the limitations and spice things up.

How Custom Instagram Fonts Work

How to change instagram story font on android

Instagram uses the font Proxima Nova for small text like comments and captions. There’s no way to change that, but you can kind of get around it.

To work with different alphabets, punctuation marks, scripts, and emoji, Instagram also supports most Unicode scripts. While these include things like mathematical operators (÷), Greek symbols used in science (Ω), and Hebrew letters (א‎), they also include some basic letter styles, like 𝒶 𝒽𝒶𝓃𝒹𝓌𝓇𝒾𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓃 𝓈𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉, 𝔞 𝔊𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠 𝔰𝔱𝔶𝔩𝔢, and ⓛⓔⓣⓣⓔⓡⓢ ⓘⓝ ⓒⓘⓡⓒⓛⓔⓢ. Different glyphs can even be combined to make things like an upside-down font (ʇuoɟ uʍop ǝpısdn uɐ) and ฬђคՇєשєг ץ๏ย ςคɭɭ Շђเร.

(It should be clear that How-To Geek also supports Unicode!)

So now that you know what’s going on, let’s look at how to easily use these fake fonts on Instagram.

How to Add Funky Fonts to Your Captions and Bios

While some Unicode characters can be entered using a regular keyboard, if you want to do more than substitute a + sign for a “t”, it’s easier to copy and paste from an app.

On your smartphone, visit CoolFont.org and enter your caption or comment. It’ll present you with around 100 different text options, ranging from the cool to the barely legible. Tap the “Decorate” button if you want to add additional text decorations like hearts, stars, and random patterns.

Once you’re happy with the way the text looks, select it and tap “Copy,” or just tap the “Copy” button. You can then paste it into any text field in Instagram.

How to change instagram story font on androidHow to change instagram story font on android

It’ll even work with Instagram stories, but it probably won’t look as good as the built-in options.

How to change instagram story font on androidHow to change instagram story font on android

You can use this same technique to add fun fonts to other social media sites that support Unicode like Twitter and Facebook. Just be careful: You want to make sure whatever you write is still easy to read.

Instagram is all about the hook. If you want followers to stick around, you need to keep your content interesting and engaging. Rainbow text can really make your Stories pop, but it’s not really an Instagram “feature,” meaning it’s not an easy task to accomplish. There is, however, an easy hack that takes all the work out of rainbow-colored text, making your Stories better overall.

Instead of using a single boring color for on-screen words and phrases, rainbow text creates an ombre effect, giving each letter in your Story a different color shade. While a traditional rainbow would go from red to violet (or vice versa), you can start and stop with any color. It’s not an option in Instagram’s Story editor, but it’s simple enough to go rainbow, no matter if you’re using an iPhone or Android phone.

With Instagram open, either swipe right or tap on the camera icon in the top-left corner to open the Stories camera. Then, take a picture or video, or select one from your library. Next, tap your finger on the screen to add text (any font) and write down whatever you want. Then, highlight the text you want to rainbow-ify.

Now, using your right thumb, press and hold on a color on the right until the gradient tool appears. Sliding your thumb up will show lighter colors while sliding down will use darker ones.

Keeping that thumb held down, take your left thumb, and hold down on the right edge of the selected text, making sure to grab that end cursor. Slowly slide both thumbs to the left at the same time and pace. You’ll see the letters change colors as you go along.

How to change instagram story font on android How to change instagram story font on android How to change instagram story font on android

Confused? Don’t worry. It took me a few tries before I got the hang of it. Check out the GIF below to see the process in action, which shows it off pretty well.

How to change instagram story font on android

Now, of course, you can use any page of colors you want (there are three different pages of colors on Instagram). Also, you don’t have to start at the end of a gradient, you can start in the middle if you want. You could also start at the beginning so that your thumbs are moving inward toward each other instead. And you could take both thumbs left to right instead of right to left. It’s pretty versatile.

The only other way to create rainbow text is to highlight each letter separately, then color each accordingly, but that takes up way too much time. Although this two-thumb method is a bit tricky to perform at first, a little practice will make you an expert in no time.

If you’re on iOS though, be careful — once you jump back into the text editor, your rainbow text will be restored to a uniform color. On Android, your rainbow effect isn’t removed just by opening the text editor, nor by typing more. Try to change the color, however, and that color will be applied to your entire text.

While watching Instagram (IG) Reels, you may have seen videos where some text appears and then disappears followed by a new text. You must be wondering how do Instagrammers create and add timed text to Reels? Well, it’s not a difficult job. You can do it directly within Instagram or even using a third-party app. We have covered both methods here. Let’s check how to add multiple or disappearing texts to Instagram Reels on Android and iPhone.

How to Add Text to Reels on Instagram

1. Add Text in Instagram App

The Instagram app offers a native way to add pop-up text to your Reel videos. That is, the text disappears at a particular time and a new text pops up. Do note that you can add text to the final video only. You cannot add text to individual clips while creating them. But you can add text to different clips after you have created the full Reel video.

Here’s how to go about it.

1. Launch the Instagram app and add clips to your Reel.

2. Tap on the Preview button to go to the video editing screen where you get options like the ability to add doodle, add audio and stickers, and download Reel. Here you need to tap on the Aa icon at the top to add text to your Reel.

How to change instagram story font on android

3. The blinking text bar will appear on the screen. Type your first text. That is, if you want to add multiple texts at different times, you will have to enter each text separately. So, enter the first text and hit the Done button. You can also edit the text as shown in the next section.

How to change instagram story font on android

4. Similarly, repeat the procedure to add other texts. That is, tap again on the same Aa icon to add more text to your video.

5. When you add multiple texts to the video, you will notice that each text appears as a separate block at the bottom of the video. Tap on the text block that you want to edit to create a pop-up effect. Once you select the text layer at the bottom, a white box will appear around your video preview. Drag the box from either end to adjust the start and end time. Tap again on the text block to deselect it.

How to change instagram story font on android

Similarly, select other text blocks and adjust their start and end time. You can either add all text blocks before editing their timing individually or add one by one and adjust each one accordingly. Finally, publish your Reel.

How to Edit Text in Reels

Once you have added text to your video, you can edit it in multiple ways. To change the text style, tap on the text present at the top of the video. You will see the regular text editing options that allow you to change the color, style, background color, and alignment.

Change Text Font and Style

Enter the text editing mode by tapping on the text. You will find various font styles at the bottom of the video. Tap on them to preview the text.

Change Text Color

Tap on the color palette icon at the top to select a different color for your text. Use the color picker icon on the color palette screen to choose a color from your video.

Animate Text

You can also animate text in Reels by using the Animate option. To do so, tap on the Animate icon.

Move and Resize Text

Drag the text to change its position. Similarly, use the pinch in and out gesture on the text to resize it. Using the same gesture, you can also rotate it.

Similarly, edit other texts in a similar manner.

2. Add Text to Reels Using Third-Party Apps

If the above method doesn’t work in the future or you don’t like it for some reason, you can take the help of third-party video editing apps. These apps offer better text effects, animations, font styles, and are much easier to use.

Let’s check the steps using the VN video editor app:

1. Install the VN Video editor app on your Android phone or iPhone.

2. Download your Instagram Reel to your phone’s gallery so that you can add it to the VN app.

3. Open the VN app and tap on the add (+) icon at the bottom. Select New Project and load the video that you downloaded in step 2.

4. Tap on the text layer and select the Text option. Choose text style from the available options.

How to change instagram story font on android

5. You will see that a text layer gets added to your video. Tap on it and hit the Edit button. Type your text in the available box.

6. Tap on various tabs and change the text font, color, size, and position as per your need.

7. Adjust the visibility or the time of the text using the edges of the text layers. The left side indicates the start time and the right end refers to the end time. You can also drag the text layer to change its timing.

How to change instagram story font on android

Similarly, add other text layers and adjust their style and timing to create pop-up text effects for your Reel videos. Some other apps that you can use to add text to IG Reels at different times are:

Create Amazing Instagram Reels

Instagram offers cool features to edit Reel videos directly in the app. But if those options don’t satisfy your requirements, you can always rely on Reel editing apps. These apps not only let you add text to Reels but can come in handy to add transitions, effects, filters, and much more. You can even create video collages and add them on Reels.

For the first time in twenty years, Apple created its own custom font in late 2014. Dubbed “San Francisco,” it combined elements from Helvetica and FF DIN to create a crisp, elegant, and highly legible font that is now used in iOS, macOS, and tvOS.

With an open source Magisk module from developer Nong Thai Hoang, you can now use Apple’s San Francisco as your system-wide font on Android. This works independently from any built-in font management system on your phone, so you don’t even have to worry about setting anything up just flash the module and go!

What You’ll Need

  • rooted Android device
  • Magisk installed

Step 1: Download the San Francisco Font Module

To get started, head to the project’s official Github page at the link below. Once there, tap “Assets” to expand more options. Among these, select SFP_4.6.zip to download the module.

Step 2: Flash the Module in Magisk Manager

Now, open your Magisk Manager app and tap the puzzle piece icon on the floating menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Once on the Modules screen, tap “Install from storage” towards the top, then use the file picker app to browse to your Download folder and select the SFP_4.6.zip file. Once Magisk is done flashing the file, go ahead and hit “Reboot” in the bottom-right corner.

Step 3: Enjoy Your New Font!

When you get back up, your system font will now be Apple’s San Francisco! Since this is a system-wide font, it applies to everything from the Quick Settings to text on websites and in your apps (provided the website or app doesn’t use their own custom fonts). In comparison to the Google Sans font on Pixel phones (below), it’s a subtle change, but still quite sophisticated.

If you’ve ever seen text-only images on other people’s Instagram stories or or posts, you may have wondered exactly how they made those. Are those images made by a third-party app? Or are they something you can do within Instagram?

The answer is text-only images are actually a built-in, if not immediately obvious, feature on the platform. You just have to know where to find it.

Here’s how to post images with text on Instagram, either in a story or a post.

How to post a text-only image on Instagram using Create Mode

1. Open the Instagram app on your phone.

2. Tap the camera icon in the top-left corner of the home screen.

3. Slide the bottom toolbar from “Normal” until you see “Create.”

4. Tap the screen to add your text. If needed, you can cycle through different font options by tapping the top middle button, or change the size via the slide bar on the left-hand side. When completed to your liking, click “Next”

5. You’ll now be able to edit your text image as you would normally do with a story. Another helpful hint: You can tap the colorful circle toward the top-left side of the screen to change the background color.

6. When the text and image is to your liking, you can either tap the “Send to” button to add it to your stories, or select the “Save” icon at the top of the screen to save it to your phone’s camera roll.

If you save the image, you will be able to see and select it when you go through the usual posting process for a standard grid post.

If you use Instagram enough, you’re probably familiar with the little quizzes that people put up on their Instagram Stories.

People use these quizzes for a wide variety of things — some use them to quiz friends on their opinions, and some use them to ask for fashion advice. There are countless uses.

However, if you’ve never used one before, you may be confused when trying to set it up. That’s because a quiz isn’t a different type of story you post — it’s just a sticker you add to a story before you post it.

When you add one of Instagram’s specialized quiz stickers to your story, you can check the answer data later, and you can look at the viewers list to see what other people have said.

If you want to give it a try and add a quiz to your next Instagram story, here’s how to do it using the Instagram app for iPhone and Android.

Check out the products mentioned in this article:

iPhone 11 (From $699.99 at Apple)

How to add a quiz to your Instagram story

1. Open the Instagram app and tap your story icon in the top-left corner to add a new story.

2. Take a picture or video like you normally would, or cover your camera so your picture is entirely black.

3. Tap the sticker button in the top-right — it looks like a square with a smiley face inside of it.

4. In the sticker menu, scroll down until you find the one that says “Quiz” and tap it.

5. Type your question and your answers into the appropriate fields.

To randomize the question, tap the dice icon above your keyboard.

Once you type two answers, the option to add another will appear. You can have up to four options.

To select the correct answer, tap the corresponding letter. It should turn green when you do.

You can also tap the color wheel above the sticker to change the sticker’s color.

6. When you’re finished, tap “Done” in the top-right corner.

7. Move the sticker to a spot you like on the screen. You might want to move it away from your face, for example.

8. When you’re satisfied with how your quiz looks, post it to your story by tapping the “Your story” button in the bottom-left. If you only want your list of close friends to see it, tap “Close Friends” directly next to that instead.

9. To see the results of your quiz, just tap “Your story” again on the homepage, and when you reach your quiz, swipe up. You’ll be able to see who’s viewed and answered, what they’ve said, and what the most popular answers are.

Want to use Instagram from your computer? All you need is Instagram on the Web!

One of the most frustrating parts of many social media apps is the fact that you can’t edit something once you’ve posted it.

But when it comes to Instagram, even those of us who always seem to fall victim to auto-correct errors are in luck. The platform allows users to edit posts quickly and easily.

For example, you can change things like the caption or the alt text that accompanies a photo or video posted to the platform.

Instagram uses object recognition technology to create automatic alt text, which is meant to aid those who are visually impaired. But those auto-descriptions aren’t always as helpful as they could be for those individuals, so editing your alt text could go a long way in making your profile more inclusive and accessible.

If you have an Instagram post that could use an edit or two, here’s what you’ll need to do, whether you’re using Instagram on an iPhone or Android:

Check out the products mentioned in this article:

How to edit an Instagram post

Editing posts you’ve already added to your profile is a simple process.

1. Open Instagram and toggle over to your profile (located in the bottom toolbar).

2. Select the post you want to edit.

3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the post and select “Edit.”

4. Edit the caption as you see fit — from this screen, you can also tag people (by tapping the icon at the bottom-left corner of the photo or video), edit the alt text (by tapping the bottom-right “Aa” icon), and add a location marker (by tapping “Add Location” at the top of the post).

5. Tap the checkmark in the top-right corner of the screen to save the changes you’ve made to the post.

If you want to share someone else’s tweet, Twitter allows you to retweet it. If you’re going to share a Facebook post, you can just hit the Share button. You might be wondering how to share someone else’s Instagram story on your own stories.

Although it is possible to share an Instagram story, it wasn’t that way for a long time. Unlike other prominent social networks, Instagram doesn’t encourage sharing existing stories to keep your feed filled mostly with original stuff. It’s one of the ways Instagram differentiates itself from other platforms.

It wasn’t until June of 2018 that the company finally allowed for some sharing of stories, but it’s still very limited even now. That being said, it is possible, so let’s get into how to share an Instagram story!

Important: Keep in mind we’re only referring to Instagram stories in this post. Regular Instagram posts can be easily shared as a story. Press the paper plane icon on any post and select Add post to your story. You can also share these posts with other Instagram users.

How to share an Instagram story

How to change instagram story font on android

The steps for sharing an Instagram story are straightforward. However, there are two very significant limitations built-in that you need to understand before you start.

Limitations

The first limitation is that Instagram will not allow you to share someone else’s story unless the creator tags you. Unfortunately, there is no way around this, at least for now. If you follow someone and they post a story without tagging you, you won’t be able to share it. Even if that person also follows you.

The second limitation is that only stories from public accounts can be shared. If you are tagged in someone else’s story, but that person has a private account, you can’t share it.

  1. When someone mentions you in a story, you will receive a notification. Tap that notification, and you’ll head to your direct messages.
  2. If you swiped away the tag notification, don’t worry: open the Instagram app and tap the direct messages icon in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Once you are in the direct messages feed, you should see a thread from the person who tagged you in their story. Tap that thread.
  4. You’ll see the story that mentions you in the direct messages thread. Below it, you’ll see a link that says Add to your story. Select that option.
  5. The story pops up with a background. Here, you can add stickers, text, or whatever else you like before it hits your own story.
  6. Once you’re ready, tap the Send to button in the bottom right. Select Your Story.

Alternatively, you can send stories to specific groups or contacts.

While sharing an Instagram story is pretty limited when you want to share within the same app, Instagram is very open about sharing content outside its app. Follow these steps to do so.

  1. Open the Instagram app.
  2. Find the Story or post you want to share outside of Instagram.
  3. Tap the three-dot menu button in the top-right corner.
  4. Select Share to.
  5. Pick the app or contact you want to share to.
  6. Alternatively, you can select Copy to copy the URL of the story.
  7. Go and share it anywhere you want!

It would be nice if sharing stories were more open-ended. For example, it would be great to share a story from a celebrity or influencer, in which they likely won’t tag you. Until Instagram makes that possible, though, you are stuck with these limitations.

Changing the font on Instagram isn’t hard, and it can really make your profile stand out too! It’s really simple to do as well, so long as you have access to a good Instagram font changer…

Everybody has an Instagram these days, so standing out from the crowd is getting harder and harder. Your Instagram bio is one of the most important components of your entire page – it’s what most people see first. For this reason, you’ll want to make it as eye-catching as possible.

And one of the simplest ways of doing that is changing Instagram’s default font and turning it into something more bespoke and unusual. You cannot do this inside Instagram natively, however, so you’re going to need to get a little creative. It’s simple enough, though, so don’t worry.

How To Change Font On Instagram

In order to change the font of your Instagram bio (or inside your posts), you will need to use one of the many Instagram font generators online. Right now, these are your #1 best options for Instagram font editors:

Which do we recommend? Meta Tags Font Generator; this online application lets you preview what your font will look like, so for us, it’s the one to use. It saves you time, as you don’t have to keep flip-flopping between your font generator and your profile as you test out different ideas.

If you’re using iPhone or iPad, you can download a dedicated app for this; it’s called Fonts – For Instagram. With this app installed, you can do everything on your phone and you don’t need to bother with any of the sites above. If you use iOS, this is easily the best way to change the font on your Instagram bio.

On Android? Use the Cool Fonts app; it’s basically the same deal as Fonts – For Instagram.

What Font Does Instagram Use?

Most people never give font choice a second thought. But font choice, especially when building applications and sites that are serving hundreds of millions of users a day, is very, very important – it can have a massive effect on engagement. There are certain fonts, you see, that people, whether they know it or not, prefer to read online.

Instagram uses a font called Neue Helvetica, a slight variation on Helvetica, for nearly all of its in-app text, meaning the text you enter and see inside your bio and on your posts, and on other peoples’ posts. Neue Helvetica is a nice-looking, lightweight font that looks smart but is easy on the eyes – this is very important for online applications and apps.

How to change instagram story font on android

In total, there are over 650,000 fonts available to web developers and applications. That said, the most commonly used fonts you’ll come across online tend to be from the Sans Serif family of web fonts. Oh, and if you’re wondering, Sans Serifs is a French word that, roughly speaking, translates as follows: “without line and/or stroke”.

And, as of right now, these are some of the most popularly used Sans Serif fonts you’ll come across online:

  • Arial
  • Calibri
  • Candara
  • Century Gothic
  • Consolas
  • Dejavu Sans
  • Franklin Gothic
  • Gill Sans
  • Helvetica
  • Lucida Sans
  • MS Sans Serif
  • Neue Helvetica
  • Optima
  • Segoe UI
  • Tahoma
  • Trebuchet MS
  • Verdana

How To Use Meta Tags Font Generator

Again, pretty simple: go to Meta Tags Generator on your phone (or PC, if working from a computer), enter your text, find the font you want to use, hit copy, and then paste that code into your Instagram bio. And that’s it, you’re all done!

How to change instagram story font on android

Now all you have to do is hit save and your Instagram bio now has a fancy new font. Simple, right?

What Makes A Good Instagram Bio?

As we noted above, your Instagram bio is one of the most important aspects of your account. It’s what people see first and it plays a massive role in whether someone decides to follow you or not. You need a great profile picture, something that really pops, and a nice, simple bio description. Keep it simple here, simple and to the point.

You want your Instagram bio to be unique and convey exactly what your page is about. If it’s a business account, make sure your business’s MO is front and center – you want to talk about the one thing that makes you different here. Make sure you test out different bios too; A/B testing is key when it comes to finding out what the best option is.

How to change instagram story font on android

If your Instagram is personal, you need to convey a little bit of your personality in the bio description – something that is uniquely you. It could be a quote you like, a principle you live your life by, or something you believe in strongly. Either way, it needs to represent what people are going to get if they follow you…

For instance, say you have an Instagram page about craft beer, your bio could look something like this: “We Love Craft Beer, So We Made A Page With All Our Favorite Beers On It” – that’s not a great example, granted, but it does what’s required. It tells the viewer what the page is about and what they’ll get should they decide to follow you.

Anything Else I Need To Know?

Part of the allure of Instagram is its visual nature; people like it because everything is done in a visual manner. For this reason, you need to make sure pictures and content look as good as possible.

This is why big accounts use lighting for their shots; they want to make them as professional-looking as possible. Decent lighting kits aren’t too expensive and they make a lot of difference. And best of all, you can do all of this with a phone; a DSLR camera is not essential.

Next, you need to format your posts correctly. Instagram does not let you add line breaks into the written content that supports your images. We have a guide on how you can easily do this, however, so if you like writing longer Instagram posts, you will 100% want to check that out – it makes the text look so much better and easier to read.

And if you need some inspiration on how to grow your Instagram channel, check out our interview with the creator of Faces of Rock, who grew his Instagram channel from zero to over 60K users in the space of 12 months. His content now gets likes from the likes of Slash from Guns N’ Roses too, so he really knows what he’s doing!

How to change the font in a TextView , as default it’s shown up as Arial? How to change it to Helvetica ?

How to change instagram story font on android

16 Answers 16

First, the default is not Arial. The default is Droid Sans.

Second, to change to a different built-in font, use android:typeface in layout XML or setTypeface() in Java.

Third, there is no Helvetica font in Android. The built-in choices are Droid Sans ( sans ), Droid Sans Mono ( monospace ), and Droid Serif ( serif ). While you can bundle your own fonts with your application and use them via setTypeface() , bear in mind that font files are big and, in some cases, require licensing agreements (e.g., Helvetica, a Linotype font).

EDIT

The Android design language relies on traditional typographic tools such as scale, space, rhythm, and alignment with an underlying grid. Successful deployment of these tools is essential to help users quickly understand a screen of information. To support such use of typography, Ice Cream Sandwich introduced a new type family named Roboto, created specifically for the requirements of UI and high-resolution screens.

The current TextView framework offers Roboto in thin, light, regular and bold weights, along with an italic style for each weight. The framework also offers the Roboto Condensed variant in regular and bold weights, along with an italic style for each weight.

After ICS, android includes Roboto fonts style, Read more Roboto

Text posts have emerged in popularity on Instagram as a way to share funny tweets/written jokes, forge an aesthetic around fonts and words, or reveal a complex thought. Even though a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes you want to write out exactly what you mean.

In this article, I’ll show you 3 methods to create an Instagram text post with standard, cool, and fancy text. I describe three different approaches to making text posts for Instagram:

  1. Customize text post with Kapwing
  2. Screenshot text
  3. Use Instagram Story tool

Check out our YouTube tutorial for a full walkthrough

Method 1: Create Text Post Using Kapwing

Kapwing is an online tool that allows you to create and customize images and videos. Go to Kapwing homepage and click “Start Editing”. If you have a video/photo you want to use as a background, upload it. Otherwise click “Start with a blank canvas.”

How to change instagram story font on androidBlank canvas in Kapwing Studio

Kapwing defaults to a white, square canvas. Change the size and background color of the canvas by using the tools in the right-hand column (or tap “Edit background” if you’re using your phone). You can make it 1:1 for Instagram or 9:16 for your Story. You can also enter a custom hex code if you want to make the text or the background match your brand kit.

Click “Text” in the main toolbar to add a text layer to the text post. Tap the text to edit it and type any words or message you’d like to say. You can add multiple text layers and position them relative to each other.

Change the styling of the text using the options in the action panel. You can pick from a library of hundreds of fonts or upload a custom font. It’s also possible to change the alignment and line height, bold/italicize, add a background color, and resize the text boxes.

You can select font, fill color, outline color, and paragraph style. Move the text layers on the canvas to create a custom design.

Kapwing’s Studio has other design tools to explore. To make your post into an animated text video, browse the library of text effects and animations. Creators can add background shapes, fill colors, and images to emphasize your text. Add line height and drag and drop to position the text where you want it. Check out the variety of shape options available.

You can convert a text post into the video by going to the Timeline. In Timeline, pick the length or duration you want for the output video and time out your text. Then, delay your text so that it appears and disappears.

If your text post is a video you can add animations to your text and add audio using the audio tool in the bottom panel.

You can also choose to make a GIF text post by going to Settings and choosing to output as GIF. Here’s an example text post I made with a fade animation and a GIF background.

When you are happy with your text post, click the red “Export” button in the corner. Your image will then be ready to download and post on Instagram.

If you’re not signed into a Kapwing account, sign in or sign up using your Google or Facebook account – once you’ve signed into a Kapwing account, the watermark in the lower right corner will be removed from your final image.

Method 2: Screenshotting Text

You can use any number of apps to write out text, including Notes, Tumblr, or Twitter and then screenshot them to create an image. Screenshots from Notes, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, and Twitter are popular on Instagram, especially for meme makers.

Over the past few years, Instagram has seen exponential growth — from one million users at its inception to over one billion in 2022.

If you’re interested in getting an Instagram account, or just created one but aren’t sure how to use it, you’re in luck. Here, we’re going to cover all the basics, so you can learn why Instagram is the top social media platform for engagement today.

What is Instagram?

Instagram is a social media platform that emphasizes photo and video sharing via its mobile app. You can take, edit, and publish visual content for both followers and non-followers, as long as your account is public. Users can interact with your content via likes, comments, shares, and saves.

It’s hard to remember a time before Instagram. At one time, “Do it for the ‘gram” was a common saying, which meant, essentially, “Do something so we can take a picture and post it to Instagram.”

Since then, Instagram has placed a larger and heavier emphasis on video. So you no longer hear the phrase “Do it for the ‘gram.” I bet, though, that a second version of the phrase will soon follow. (Maybe “Do it for reel?”)

If you’re not part of the one billion users on Instagram, you might want to reconsider. The app is a great chance to engage with top brands and stay a part of friends’ lives. When I want to see how my college friends are doing, I don’t check Facebook, I check Instagram. Plus, you can follow your favorite celebrities or political figures to see candid photos of their everyday lives.

Additionally, it’s a phenomenal platform for investigating what other brands are doing — for instance, Nike uses the Instagram Stories’ feature to promote inspirational athlete stories you won’t find anywhere else.

How to Sign Up for Instagram

To sign up for Instagram, all you need to do is download the Instagram app on your phone and click the ‘Sign up’ button. You can choose to sign up through Facebook or use your email or phone number. After you choose a username and password, you’re ready to build your profile.

If you’re ready to sign up for Instagram, follow these steps below:

  • Go to the Instagram site on your desktop, or download the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
  • If you’re on desktop, click “Log in with Facebook”, or fill in the form with your mobile number or email, name, username, and password. Then click “Sign up”.
  • On Android, click “Sign Up With Email or Phone Number”.
  • On iPhone, select “Sign Up”.
  • Enter your email address or phone number, then click “Next”. Alternatively, you can sign up with your Facebook account.
  • Once you’ve filled out your username and password, you will be instructed to fill out your profile info. Then, tap “Done”.
  • If you register with Facebook, you’ll need to log into your Facebook account if you’re currently logged out.

How Do Instagram Notifications Work?

When your account is created, you’ll want to adjust your notifications so you only receive the information you want. For instance, you can choose to receive notifications when you get likes from everyone — but, alternatively, you might decide to only receive notifications when you get a like from someone you follow. Or, you might turn off notifications for likes altogether.

You can adjust notifications to “Off”, “From People I Follow”, or “From Everyone”, for the following categories — Comments, Comment Likes, Likes and Comments on Photos of You, Follower Requests, Accepted Follow Requests, Friends on Instagram, Instagram Direct, Photos of You, Reminders, First Posts and Stories, Product Announcements, View Counts, Support Requests, Live Videos, Mentions in Bio, IGTV Video Updates, and Video Chats.

If you’re overwhelmed by that list, I get it — I am, too. If you’re unsure what notifications you want to receive, you might start with your notifications on “From Everyone”, and if certain notifications begin to annoy you, you can turn them off later.

How to change background color on Instagram story when sharing a post

When you share a post to your story, Instagram automatically sets a background color. This is based on the general color of the post that you are sharing. So if you are sharing a post that contains a lot of greenery, your background will be set to a shade of green.

If you wish to change that background, follow this simple guide.

Once you have shared the post to your story, tap the ‘Draw’ button in the top panel.

How to change instagram story font on android

Now select the ‘Sharpie’ tool. Tap the color that you would like to set as your background from the palette at the bottom.

Now tap and hold your finger anywhere over the background. Your background will change to the selected color.

How to change Instagram Story background color behind a photo

Most often, users tend to create an Instagram story by simply clicking a photo of something using the Instagram camera page. But did you know, that even when you click a photo, you can pinch to zoom out of the photo, leaving a background behind it?

Here is where it gets interesting though. Although Instagram does not let you actually change this background, you can use a trick to set a fun filter for your photo!

Note: This causes the entire photo and background to be covered with the selected color.

To set a colored filter, pinch out of your photo to reveal your background (if you want to). Now tap the ‘Draw’ button in the top panel, and select the ‘Highlighter’ tool.

Select a color from the palette at the bottom. Now tap and hold your finger anywhere over the screen. You should see the screen covered with the selected color, and your photo visible beneath it!

How to change background color on Instagram Story when reposting

When you repost someone else’s story, you are automatically given a background color to match the content of the shared story. Similar to the above scenario, Instagram blends this story into the background; meaning that you cannot set a specific background for the image.

You could use the above method to set an opaque filter over the whole image, but that would restrict what can be seen. Your best bet in this case it to do a rustic coloring around the edge of the story. You can even use the color picker to choose a color to accent the story!

Tap the ‘Draw’ button in the top panel, and select the ‘Effects’ tool. Choose a color you would like to set as the background for the story. If you would like to pick a color from the story itself, tap the ‘Color Picker’ and adjust the cursor accordingly.

Another way to create an Instagram story is to simply use an image from your gallery. This is more common with creators who heavily edit their stories before even bringing it to the app. You can add an image to your Instagram story by swiping up from the camera screen and selecting the image.

Unfortunately, Instagram does not let you set this background either. However, there is a fun workaround that you could try! This method is referred to as ‘Picture reveal’.

Once you have your image, tap the ‘Draw’ button in the top panel, and select the ‘Sharpie’ tool. Now select a color you would like to set as your background from the palette below.

Tap and hold anywhere over the screen. You will notice the entire screen turns that color.

Don’t worry! We’re now going to use the ‘Eraser’ tool to erase out the image that you had added earlier. This leaves the color as your new background!

This what the final story will look like! It’s up to you how much of your image you would like to reveal.

A picture may say a thousand words, but sometimes you need just a few more to really get your point across. Instagram text posts are a popular way to do this, adding a little word-based variety to all the food porn and mountain pics. We’re taking a look at a small selection of the best free iOS word-enhancing apps, each one perfect for creating impressive posts for Instagram and other social platforms.

Here are the five best, free iOS apps for creating Instagram text posts.

1) Add Text to Photos

Free, iOS

The prosaically named “Add Text to Photos” app starts you off by letting you select an image from your phone’s Camera Roll or take a fresh pic. Once you’ve chosen your image, there are options to rotate or flip it, then tap to crop the pic to fit the kind of post you want to create.

From here you can apply a free filter to your image, add your text (with a choice of around a dozen free fonts), play around with font color, add a customizable drop shadow, and even change the opacity of the writing, among other options. There is also a large selection of fun stickers to add to images.

Add Text to Photo’s most exciting feature is its 3D text design tool, which adds a three-dimensional look to your Instagram text posts.

Unlike rival apps, Add Text to Photos has comprehensive “Drafts” functionality, meaning you can save your work-in-progress within the app to return to. You can access drafts from the main menu.

Once you’ve perfected your creation and its caption, tap the familiar share icon and choose the option to post your watermark-free pic to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or Snapchat– or you can save it, email it, or even message it.

2)Font Candy

Free, iOS

Font Candy first asks you to choose what kind of post you want to create from a scroll-through menu.

From here, double-tap to add text then scroll through a long list of available fonts, with loads of fashionable choices. There is the option to add free “artwork” to your images, including decorative text dividers and shapes to go around your words.

Font Candy’s really neat trick is the ability to animate your text, so that it either flashes different colors, scrolls across the image, or zooms in larger.

When you’re done, tap the share button, and Font Candy usefully saves your creation to both your phone and the templates section of the app. Then it brings up a screen with the options of sharing to social sites.

3) ImageQuote

Free, iOS

ImageQuote is an incredibly basic but very easy-to-use option that offers six free font choices. This might be a limited app, but the templates are attractive and the app also allows for simple image editing and it has various text customization options.

Tap the Polaroid icon to select an image from your Camera Roll, move and scale it where you want, and then double-tap to start writing. ImageQuote’s text editor is perfectly designed for Instagram quote posts thanks to its attribution tool, too–it has a prompt that asks “who said it?”.

Once you’ve got your image and required text into the ImageQuote editor, you can change the text size, alignment, and line spacing while the font color (or colors) can be changed via the palette menu.

ImageQuote also offers basic photo editing. Tap on the lines and dots icon at the bottom of your screen and you’ll see options to blur your pic, change the brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue.

Once you’re happy with your worded-up photo, hit share to post it to Instagram or Facebook, or save it to your Camera Roll.

4) Phonto

Free, iOS

With Phonto, when you fire up the app you can take a photo there and then or chose one from your Camera Roll. Once you’ve got the image loaded up, you get the option to leave it as-is or add a free filter.

How to change instagram story font on androidPhonto/Apple

Once past the editing stage, you simply tap to add text and get to chose from a comprehensive list of hundreds of fonts–the kind of selection you’d expect in a word processing package or app. From here you can add cute symbols, then easily move the text around, change the size with a slider tool, rotate the text with the tilt tool, adjust line spacing, kerning, perspective, shadow, the list goes on–this really is an app that lets you totally customize your Instagram text posts.

When you’re done playing, you can share the image to the usual places. The app does not apply any kind of watermark or logo to your finished creation.

5) Typorama

Free, iOS

Typorama literally holds your hand as you go through the editing process. If you land on the “My Photos” menu and select an image from your Camera Roll, it takes you to a “How do you want to use your creation?” screen where you can choose to create an Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn post. Alternatively, there are options to make Instagram Stories, Facebook Cover images, YouTube thumbnails, or make perfectly sized photos for iPhone and Apple Watch wallpapers. It’s a great choice for those who are often posting to multiple platforms.

Once you select the type of post you want to create, Typorama instantly creates the correct ratio, then gives you the option to move your picture so it fits the frame. Next, add your text, then scroll through the different font and style options at the bottom of your screen. Some are paid-for only, but there are plenty of free options, too.

Next, you can make even more free changes. You can alter the color, opacity, add shadow gradient and 3D effects, change the size and positioning, all well as view your history of edits. Typorama also offers a selection of stock images that you can overlay text onto.

When you’re done being creative, hit “OK, share!” for comprehensive choices for sharing across all the major social platforms. You can also email it to yourself or save the image.

Summary: Instagram story video quality bad after upload? In this article, we will tell you why Instagram Story videos go blurry and how to fix this issue. Check it out!

If you are an Instagram user, you will be aware of the importance of Instagram video/photo quality. However, on Quora and Reddit, you see lots of threads like this.

My videos become poor quality after uploading them to Instagram. There is no problem with the video. Why and how to fix this problem?

– Question from a Quora User

Instagram Story video quality bad issues may happen for various reasons, including the Internet connection, the app version. Whatever the case is, Instagram story video quality bad issues are not hard to solve. Follow the methods below and say no to blurry Instagram story videos.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 1. Check Internet Connection

If your Internet connection is not stable, the uploaded Instagram story videos might get blurry because they are not fully loaded. That’s not all, while you are uploading videos to Instagram under bad Internet connection, Instagram will automatically reduce the video quality in order to upload it. Try to connect your devices to a stable WIFI switch to mobile data.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 2. Try Different Videos & Photos

Restored your phone from a backup? Try another video or photos. The clarity of photos and videos may change in a corrupted backup.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 3. Reset Network Settings

On iPhone, to reset network settings, you have to go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. On Android phone, you need to go Settings >Backup and reset > Reset Network Settings.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 4. Adjust Camera Settings

When your phone can’t capture high-quality video, here is what you do to adjust phone camera settings.

On Android:

Step 1 Open the default Camera app on your phone.

Step 2 Find Camera.

Step 3 Adjust camera quality and toggle the “Auto DHR” on.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 5. Your Phone Might Be Too Good

Instagram limits the size and quality of the photo and video you uploaded. If you are uploading a video or photo that is too large, Instagram will compress it so that your video could be loaded faster. As a solution, don’t use phone’s camera. Use Instagram’s camera instead. No trimming, no quality loss.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 6. Update the App

When you are in the older version of Instagram, the Instagram Story video might appear worse. Update it so that you can enjoy the new Instagram journey.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 7. Adjust Instagram Settings

Step 1 Launch Instagram and tap your profile icon.

Step 2 Click on the three horizontal lines.

Step 3 Go to Settings > Account > Cellular data use.

Step 4 Toggle the Data Saver off.

Fix Instagram Story Video Blurry Issues Tip 8. Use Photo/Video Editing Apps

Instagram has certain requirements for videos and photos. If the video you want to upload doesn’t meet the requirements, Instagram will automatically trim or compress it.

Lots of video editor such as FlexClip helps you trim and compress the video to fit Instagram story format without quality loss. In clicks, you can adjust the aspect ratio, video length and video size. Moreover, it also provides you other video editing tools to level up the video, like transitions, filters, and video speed changer. Image Board: Instagram Story Video Quality Bad – FlexClip Overview

Instagram Stories are extremely popular these days. So popular, in fact, that many other apps have copied this feature from Instagram. Pretty much everyone knows what Instagram Stories are at this point, so that’s not what we’re here to talk about. We are, however, here to show you how to add a link to your Instagram Story, as that is very much possible. Do note that we’ll show you how to add a regular web link to your Instagram Story, not how to link to your bio or anything like that.

Having said that, this procedure is not overly complicated, but it does require quite a few steps. We’ll show you how to do it one step at a time, and you’ll also find a bunch of screenshots below. That way, it’ll be easier for you to follow along and make the changes yourself. Having said that, let’s get started, shall we.

How to add a link to your Instagram Story

The first thing you’ll need to do is open the Instagram Android app, of course. We’ll assume you’re logged in so that we can proceed. You’ll need to simply swipe from left to right to access the Instagram camera.

How to change instagram story font on android

Once the Instagram camera opens, you can either take a picture/video and publish a story from there. Or you can simply post something from your gallery by tapping the image icon in the bottom-left corner. For the sake of this tutorial, we’ll take a picture right then and there.

How to change instagram story font on android

The next step, after you take the picture, is to tap the stickers button at the top of the display, as highlighted below.

How to change instagram story font on android

A ton of different stickers will open, but you’ll need to find the ‘LINK’ one. Chances are you’ll need to scroll down in order to do it. Simply find the icon shown below, and tap it.

A new menu will pop up, asking you to enter your link, do that.

Once you type it in, you’ll simply be able to attach it to your story, or add a text for that link. So you can add a different text by tapping the ‘Customize sticker text’ option below. That’s what we’ll do for the purpose of this tutorial.

The ‘Sticker text’ field will open, asking you to add your custom text.

Once you’re done with that, simply tap the ‘Done’ button in the top-right corner.

There you have it, the link has been added in form of a ‘LINK’ sticker. Once I publish the Story highlighted below, tapping the ‘AH’ button will lead to the www.androidheadlines.com website. At this point, I have to tap the arrow in the bottom-right corner.

This is the last step before your Instagram Story is live. Instagram will ask you whether you’d like to publish your story to everyone (your followers, or whoever is selected by default), to a specific group of people ‘Close friends’, or send it via a Message. If you’d like to keep the default setting, simply tap the ‘Share’ button at the bottom, and you’re done.

Use the Layout tool to make a photo collage on your Instagram story.

While one can easily add multiple stories, posting more than one photo to an Instagram story can be a little tricky. The updated version of Instagram makes it easier though as it now integrates the Layout feature. Layout from Instagram is also available as a standalone app for iPhone and Android. Using the Layout tool for stories, you can add multiple photos to an Instagram story on one page. This prevents the need to separately install the Layout app or use third-party apps to get the job done.

Layout allows users to add up to six photos within a single story on Instagram. This comes in handy when you wish to share different moments on one screen itself and not as individual stories. Now let’s see how you can put multiple pictures in one story on Instagram.

Put two pictures together on Instagram Story

  1. Make sure the Instagram app is updated to the latest version.
  2. Open the app and swipe right to add a new story.
  3. Tap the “Layout” tool from the vertical pane on the left. How to change instagram story font on android
  4. Tap the Change Grid icon and select the collage frame that you want. For example: Select the two-window layout if you want to add two pictures in a single story. How to change instagram story font on android
  5. Now add pictures either from the gallery or take instant photos with the camera. To add a photo from your device gallery, swipe up on the screen or tap the add photo icon at the bottom left.
  6. After adding the photo, zoom in or drag around with two fingers to properly align the photo.
  7. If you need to retake or re-add the picture in your collage, tap on the particular photo. Then tap the delete button (Bin icon) to remove it. How to change instagram story font on android
  8. After adding multiple pictures, tap the ‘Done‘ button (tickmark icon) at the bottom. How to change instagram story font on android
  9. Optional: Add text, stickers, or one of the effects to your story if you want.
  10. Once done, share the story. You can even download the story without sharing it on your profile.

Add multiple photos in one Instagram story (iPhone only)

There is another interesting way to put several pictures at once in one Insta story. The only downside is that this Story feature is available only on the iPhone. To use it, follow the steps below.

How to change instagram story font on android

Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on March 08, 2021) follows:

Google and Apple almost certainly introduce new sets of emojis with every Android and iOS iteration. This was on show when both companies unveiled their updates to Android 11 and iOS 14 back in 2020.

More than 100 new emojis were added to Android 11 and iOS 14 following a decision to do so by the Unicode Consortium, the guys in charge of deciding the characters to add to the Unicode standard for consistency purposes.

For a quick heads-up, the over 100 emoji additions include new gender variations of Groom, Bride, Feeding Baby, transgender flag, and LGBTQ+ icons.

The updated standard also bundles bubble tea, a tamale, and other new new food and drink items, some new animals, and so on.

But as expected, there will always be some differences here and there in the way Google and Apple render emojis on Android and iOS devices, including some customizable options like face mask.

With many iOS users already enjoying the new set of emojis, most Android users remain in the dark owing to the fact that Android 11 update is not yet live for them.

Things should change with the update to Android 12, though, as Google is reportedly looking into decoupling fonts and emoji from system updates.

On the brighter side, there is a way you can bring some of the good iOS 14 emojis to your Android device, with or without root access.

Of course, being unofficial methods, you should expect to bump into some issues here and there, but overall, you’ll get to enjoy the new iOS 14 emojis on your Android device.

How to install iOS 14 emojis on Android

Several publications claim that Android users can enjoy iOS 14 emojis on their devices without root. This, apparently, can be achieved via 3rd-party apps, but truth be told, you’ll be getting nothing close to the real deal.

The only proven way of installing iOS 14 emojis on an Android device is first rooting the device in question before embarking on a mission with the popular Magisk.

Now, if you are still here, I’m assuming you know your way around rooting Android devices. To install iOS 14 emojis on your rooted Android device with Magisk, follow the steps below:

1. Download the iOS 14 Emoji Magisk Module here. Samsung users can get it here.
2. Flash the module to Magisk Manager app.
3. Click reboot to restart your phone.
4. Open Messenger, Instagram, or any other app to verify the change to iOS 14 emoji.
5. Done!
Source

Of course, with more emojis added in the newer iOS 14.5 update, we expect the guy behind this module to update it with a new set of emojis in the near future, so be sure to keep an eye on this thread.

Just so you know, we haven tried any of these iOS 14 emoji modules on our end, so know that you are getting into this process at your own risk. But we hope nothing terrible comes your way.

Do let us know in your comments below if this worked for you or any other alternative methods to download and install iOS 14 emojis on any Android device.

Update 1 (March 12)

Coming to the third-party apps that work, Green Apple Keyboard is one such app that we’ve tested ourselves and can confirm it works. All you have to do is, install the app, and set it as the keyboard, and then restart your device.

Update 6 (May 15)

An individual has shared a video on YouTube wherein they’ve shared a guide on how to get iOS emojis on Android without rooting the device.

The entire process should take only a couple of minutes. However, it’s worth noting that this won’t work on all Android phones. Check out the video guide below.

Smartphones follow specific formats and guidelines that developers should take into account when developing applications. However, every now and then, we hear about a hack that basically crashes your phone. We have previously heard of malicious message threads, uncommon image formats, and much more. Today’s story is somewhat similar and extends to social media. A user has posted an Instagram story which when viewed crashes your iPhone or Android phone. The story is now converted into a ‘Story Highlight; which users should basically avoid viewing.

Instagram Story Crashes Your iPhone and Android Phone – Here’s Why And What You Can Do About it

The Instagram story is uploaded by the user ‘pgtalal’ and it crashes any smartphone that views it, this includes iPhone and Android smartphones. Since it is an Instagram story, it can be viewed by anyone in the world. What this means is that anyone in the world who watches the story would have their phone crashed. This is not the first time that we are hearing of such a bug. Back in 2018, a Telugu character bug became the reason for crashing iPhones. The reason was simple: iOS was not able to decode the character and hence crashed.

The Instagram story that crashes iPhone and Android phones appear to show a gray screen with random text on it. Your smartphone will stop and become unresponsive before the Instagram story is complete. Arun Maini from Mrwhosetheboss dived deep into the story and reveals what is causing the smartphones to crash. He shares that the user has created two extremely large stickers up to ten million inches which are not supported by the photo-sharing platform. In comparison. a sticker’s height and width are between 0 to 1 inches.

How to change instagram story font on android

While Instagram does not allow you to post ginormous stickers, the user worked his way around using HTTP Proxy. This allowed him to manually change the dimensions of the sticker on Instagram’s server. Since the sticker is enormous in size, the iPhone and Android smartphones fail to render it. This becomes the reason how an Instagram story crashes iPhone and Android phones.

How to Fix Instagram Story Crashing Your iPhone

If you happen to have viewed the Instagram story that crashes your iPhone, you must be pretty annoyed right now. However, there is a way how you can restore your iPhone and be done with unresponsiveness. Simply follow the instructions below:

  1. Press and release the Volume Up button.
  2. Press and release the Volume Down button.
  3. Press and hold the Power or Side button until the Apple logo appears.

This is all that you have to do to restore your iPhone. Once the iPhone boots up again, you can delete Instagram and install it again. This will clear potential hiccups. However, we would not recommend you to view the Instagram story that crashes your iPhone and Android phone. You should leave the bug to developers who can get their way out of the scenario.

There you have it, folks. What are your thoughts on the Instagram story? Have you been a victim of the issue? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Quote and reply to individual Instagram messages in a chat conversation.

Facebook is finally integrating Instagram and Messenger with the launch of cross-app messaging between these two platforms. Following this change, Instagram’s messaging aka DM interface is getting several exciting features from Messenger. The new messaging tools on Instagram include custom emoji reactions, colorful chat themes, message replies and forwarding, selfie stickers, vanish mode, animated message effects, and Messenger’s Watch Together feature.

Of all the new tools in Instagram Direct, the ability to reply to a specific message on Instagram is certainly useful. Instagram users will now be able to quote and reply to individual messages in a DM. The ‘Swipe to reply to messages’ feature on Instagram works similar to Messenger and WhatsApp. With the ‘swipe to reply’ functionality, you can directly respond to a particular message in an individual or group chat. The quoted replies make long conversations meaningful, especially in large group chats.

When you reply to a message on Instagram DM, the original message is quoted along with your reply. This makes it clear for the receiver as to which specific message the sender has responded to. In addition to text messages, one can reply to an individual video, photo, voice message, sticker, emoji, and GIF.

Now let’s see how you can reply to an individual message in Instagram 2022 on iPhone and Android. There are two ways to quote a reply in Instagram direct messages.

Simply swipe right on any message to reply in a quick way. You can also swipe left on a certain message sent by you to quote it with a follow-up response. This works exactly like the swipe to reply feature on Facebook Messenger.

Reply to individual Instagram messages on desktop

You can even reply to a specific message from the desktop website of Instagram. I’m not sure if this was possible earlier.

To do so, open Instagram DMs on your computer or directly visit instagram.com/direct/inbox. Then go to a chat conversation and hover the cursor over a particular message to reveal the options. Click the reply button (back arrow icon), type your reply, and hit enter.
