  • Everclear grain alcohol, 750 ml
  • Fruit punch, 1 gallon
  • Fruit juice, 2 large cans
  • Vodka, 1 quarter
  • Ginger ale, 1 pint
  • Lemon-lime soda, 4 oz.
  • Lemon slices or cherries, to garnish
  • Ice, as required

Instructions

  • Pour a bottle of Everclear grain alcohol into a large cooler.
  • Add 1 gallon of fruit punch into the cooler. You can use readymade fruit punch or a mix of your favorite fruit juices.
  • Stir the punch thoroughly with a long spoon.
  • Add ice as required, and your basic Hunch Punch is ready!
  • Serve chilled.

For a more alcoholic version, follow the steps below.

Instructions

  • Pour fruit punch into a large cooler. Increase the quantity depending upon the number of people.
  • Mix in two types of fruit juices of your choice.
  • Add lemon-lime soda and ginger ale and stir well.
  • Empty a bottle of Everclear and vodka into the mix. For every 3 gallons of hunch punch, you will require 750 ml bottle of Everclear.

You will need…

  • Vodka or Rum, 1 quarter
  • Everclear grain alcohol, 1 quarter
  • Hawaiian Punch, 2 quarters
  • Sprite, 1 quarter
  • Ginger ale, 1 quarter
  • Kool-Aid, 0.5 quarter
  • Mixed fruit juices, 1.5 quarter
  • Seasonal fruits, your choice
  • Ice, as required

Instructions

  • Cut the seasonal fruits (Cherries, apples, pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, lime) and put aside.
  • Pour the Hawaiian punch, Sprite, Ginger Ale, and Kool-Aid into a large bowl, and mix well.
  • Add the fruits juices and stir thoroughly.
  • Add Everclear and vodka or rum.
  • Add the seasonal fruits and stir properly.
  • Serve over ice.

Tip: Instead of other fruit juices you can also use 4 oz. of lime and lemon juice each.

  • Watermelon Schnapps, 750 ml
  • Cranberry juice, 2 bottles
  • Orange juice, 2 bottles
  • Lemonade, 1 bottle
  • Oranges, 2
  • Pineapple, 1 Strawberries, 1 lb
  • Kiwi, 4
  • Watermelon, 1 small
  • Lemon-lime soda, 2 bottles
  • Ice, as required

Instructions

  • Pour vodka, Everclear grain alcohol, peach and watermelon schnapps into a large cooler.
  • Add two 32 oz. bottles of cranberry juice and orange juice each, and one 32 oz. bottle of lemonade and stir thoroughly with a long spoon.
  • Cut strawberries into half and add them to the mix.
  • Peel and cut oranges, pineapple, watermelon, kiwi, and add them to the mixture.
  • Keep it overnight so that the fruits soak up the solution.
  • Your Jungle Juice is ready!
  • Serve it over ice and with lemon-lime soda.

So with that out of the way, let’s get to the recipe!

Hunch Punch Moonshine Sunrise Recipe:

  • 3 parts orange juice
  • 2 parts Hunch Punch Lightnin’
  • Lemon juice and lime juice to taste
  • Garnish with oranges or cherries as desired

Step 2: Choose a Juice

Just before serving, pour the chilled juice mixture into a large punch bowl. Stir in 2½ cups of a juice blend from the following options:

  • Cranberry-apple juice
  • Pineapple-orange-banana juice blend
  • Pink grapefruit juice
  • Pomegranate juice
  • Raspberry juice blend
  • Strawberry juice blend

Step 3: Choose a Carbonated Beverage

Slowly stir in one 2-liter bottle carbonated beverage from the following options:

  • Cream soda
  • Ginger ale
  • Lemon-lime carbonated beverage
  • Orange carbonated beverage
  • Strawberry carbonated beverage

Step 4: Choose Optional Stir-Ins

If desired, add an ice ring (more on that below) and 1 cup stir-ins from the following options. Use one or more of these stir-in options:

  • Citrus fruit slices

  • Add a little drama: You can make an ice ring using just the punch, but they're even more attractive when they're made with fruit like orange, lemon and/or lime slices; cherries; sliced strawberries; raspberries; or blackberries. You can also use edible flowers or mint leaves. Arrange these into the pan.
  • Layer fruits in the pan: Fill the mold with about 1 inch punch or water; freeze until solid. This will hold the add-ins in place and keep them from floating. Once frozen, fill the mold with another inch of punch or water; freeze until solid. Continue until the mold is as full as you want it to be. To release from the pan, let the ring sit at room temperature about 20 minutes or place the mold in hot water for about 1 minute.
